Gluten Free Travel Card ("the App", "we", "us") is designed to operate without collecting personal data from its users.

The App is free of charge, contains no advertising, and is not operated for commercial purposes.

2. Data we collect

2.1 No personal data collected through the App

We do not collect personal data through your use of the App. Specifically:

• We do not require you to create an account or log in
• We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information
• We do not track your location
• We do not use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Firebase)
• We do not use advertising networks or tracking SDKs
• We do not collect or share personal data through the App itself

2.2 Data stored locally on your device

The App stores the following information locally on your device:

• App preferences (e.g. favourite languages, font size)
• Onboarding completion status

This information is stored locally on your device. It is generally removed when the App is uninstalled, unless included in a device backup managed by your operating system.

2.3 Legal basis (Art. 6 GDPR)

We do not process personal data as a data controller when you use the App. Any information stored locally remains under your control and is not transmitted to us.

3. Text-to-speech (Read Aloud)

The App uses the text-to-speech functionality provided by your operating system. Any processing is performed according to your device's operating system and its settings. The App itself does not transmit text to us. Please refer to Apple's or Google's privacy policies for further information.

4. External links

The App may open external services such as the App Store. When you visit these services, they may process technical information such as your IP address in accordance with their own privacy policies. This processing is outside our control.

5. Children's privacy

Since the App does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL.

7. Hosting

This Privacy Policy is hosted using GitHub Pages. When you visit this page, GitHub may process technical information such as IP addresses and server log data in accordance with its own Privacy Statement.
